These terms govern your use of the Meet U @ The Net website and participation in our beach volleyball leagues and tournaments in Santa Monica, CA 90405. By registering an account, signing up to play, or using this site, you agree to these terms.

Registration & payment

• Registration for a season is only confirmed once payment is completed through our payment processor (Stripe).
• Refunds and deferments are handled under our Refund Policy.
• We may adjust divisions, schedules, or team assignments as needed to run a fair and balanced league.

Waiver of liability

Beach volleyball carries inherent risk of injury. Players must review and sign our liability waiver (available at /waiver) before participating. By playing in our leagues or tournaments, you acknowledge and accept that risk.

Code of conduct

We expect all players, referees, and spectators to treat each other, our staff, and our referees with respect. We may remove a player or team from a season, without refund, for conduct that endangers others, is abusive, or otherwise violates the spirit of fair play.

Referees

Referees are independent contractors, not employees. Referee engagement is governed separately by a signed Independent Contractor Agreement — see our DocuSign integration page for how that signing process works.

Website use

You agree not to misuse this site — including attempting to access accounts or data that aren’t yours, disrupting the site’s operation, or submitting false registration information.

No warranty / limitation of liability

This site and our league operations are provided on an “as-is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meet U @ The Netis not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your participation in our leagues or use of this site, beyond amounts you’ve paid us for the relevant season.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site or participation in a season after an update means you accept the revised terms.
