Meet U @ The Net(“we,” “us”) operates a beach volleyball league in Santa Monica, CA, including this website, player registration, team and schedule management, and referee administration. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account & profile information: name, email, and phone number when you register as a player, sign up for a team, or apply as a referee.
• Registration & payment information: season/division selections and payment status. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
• Waiver & contractor documents: liability waivers signed by players, and for referees, an Independent Contractor Agreement and W-9 signed through DocuSign (see our DocuSign integration page for details).
• Game & league activity: team rosters, schedules, scores, and tryout evaluations, used to run the league.
• Communications: messages you send us through the contact form or email.

How we use this information

• To run league operations: registration, team formation, scheduling, scoring, and standings.
• To process payments and refunds.
• To verify referee contractor and tax-form compliance.
• To communicate with you about your registration, team, or games (schedule changes, reminders, dues).
• To respond to questions sent via our contact form.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the league, and only as needed for that purpose:

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication.
• Stripe — processes registration payments.
• DocuSign — collects referee contract and W-9 signatures.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Data retention

We retain registration, game, and contractor-document records for as long as needed for league operations, recordkeeping, and legal or tax requirements (e.g. signed W-9s).

Your choices

You can ask us to review, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@meetuatthe.net. Some information (e.g. signed contracts, tax forms, payment records) may need to be retained even after a deletion request to meet legal or financial obligations.
